The official STRIKING SOUTH east side release party is set for Friday, January 25th 2008 at The Ritz in Warren, MI 48089. The official west side cd release party is scheduled for Friday, February 23rd 2008 at The Token Lounge in Westland, MI 48185.

STRIKING SOUTH will be performing at The Emerald Theatre for Weekend Wednesday's next Wednesday, September 6th. STRIKING SOUTH will be sharing the stage with Culprit Alliance, Kambridge, Sell The Sunrise and The Hardway.
STRIKING SOUTH hits the stage at 9:00pm. This is an all ages show. Tickets available at The Emerald Theatre Box Office. Doors open at 7:00pm

The STRIKING SOUTH show has been cancelled due to an injury sustained by Michael Vincent. Our friends MANGO PIE will be performing both Friday and Saturday, July 28th and 29th. Be sure to check them out!

As a lot of you know STRIKING SOUTH has been working with Detroit producer Michael King on their debut cd. Currently Robert is in the studio recording the vocal tracks. Although the release date is still unknown the band is pushing for mid-summer this year. Check back for updates!

'MIND TRIP' has released a film project on dvd at FILMBABY.COM called "ON THE RELATIONSHIP TRIP". It's a story about a reporter that's doing a story on a group of friends unique relationships. The threesome, the lesbian, the fighting couple, and the macho man. Part of the story is interviews, antics at the dinner table and music videos of the characters. It features music from across the United States including STRIKING SOUTH, JACKNIFEPOWERBOMBS, BROTHERLOVE, SEV'N 9, WEDNESDAY'S CHILD, EROTICAN, GIDGETS GA GA and STARSHIP CAPTAIN.
There's also a special preview featured of the up and coming project MIND TRIP TO MUSICLAND'S:POWER OVER YOUR DESTINY featuring music videos of HAZCOM, THE JACKNIFEPOWERBOMBS, THE NEGLIGENTS and BROTHERS FROM ANOTHER PLANET

STRIKING SOUTH was filmed for the independent film Mindtrip To Musicland(Power Over Your Destiny). The movie has already created quite a buzz with the L.A. music community and should be released early 2006.
